After 20 years of service, Anita Treml Nidecker, the previous managing director of the Fischerstube brewery, is retiring from the operational business.
During the era of Anita Treml Nidecker, daughter-in-law of the brewery's founder, the Kleinbasel brewery developed into an important producer of Ueli beer for the local gastronomy and retail trade and an employer with eight jobs and one apprenticeship.
Treml Nidecker will in future champion the Ueli Bier brand as a member of the brewery's board of directors. The brewery is still in family hands.
A man of pleasure as successor
Treml Nidecker will be succeeded by Adrian Baumgartner. The passionate bon vivant has over 20 years of experience in the beverage trade and gastronomy and most recently held various positions as a member of the management at Paul Ullrich AG and Smith & Smith in Zurich.
In the Teufelhof Group, he was, among other things, co-initiator of the spirits brand Rheinbrand and was able to deepen his knowledge in gastronomy.
For the past five years, he has been dealing more intensively with the subject of beer and is now looking forward to the new challenge as managing director of the Fischerstube brewery and the iconic Ueli beer
