In this newly created position, he will lead Diageo’s Commercial division in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, combining the responsibilities previously held by Aleksandra Dzakovic, Commercial Director Germany, and Daniel Demke, Commercial Director CHAT (Switzerland and Austria).

Kai Grzywatz is moving from the Carlsberg Group to Diageo, where he most recently served as Managing Director of Sales for Germany. He will be responsible for developing and implementing Diageo’s commercial strategy in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

As part of the implementation of Diageo’s new commercial organization, Aleksandra Dzakovic was appointed Head of Off-Trade DACH, effective September 1, 2026. She will lead the off-trade business in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Daniel Demke, Commercial Director CHAT, left Diageo at the end of August 2026.
