Due to the increasing number of coronavirus infections, Messe Düsseldorf GmbH decided not to hold ProWein in 2020. The fair was postponed by one year.

In its second year of existence, the Swiss Coffee Festival once again attracted coffee lovers from all over Switzerland to Hall 622 in Zurich Oerlikon from 7 to 9 February 2020.

The World's 50 Best Bars 2019

The results of "The World's 50 Best Bars 2019" are eagerly awaited in autumn. The best bar in the world was Dante (2018: 9th place) in New York, followed by the Connaught Bar (2018: 5th place) in London and Florería Atlántico (2018: 23rd place) in Buenos Aires.

DistiSuisse 2019/2020

The DistiSuisse national spirits award took place on 17 October in Basel. The largest Swiss award for spirits is held every two years in collaboration with Agroscope. Particularly pleasing: the award achieved a record number of participants: 108 distilleries submitted 622 distillates from all regions of Switzerland. That is 11 more companies and 118 more samples than two years ago.
