In more than 50 workshops, more than 200 experts from Germany and abroad will present on good practices and important research results. From the perspective of night-time gastronomy and a city that wants to be attractive at night as well.

The conference is not only concerned with the possible spaces of the future, whether indoor or outdoor. Closely related to this is also the handling of sound and noise at night. Today in particular, alternatives exist to combating noise at the source alone. An entire panel is dedicated to the topic of Mediterraneanization, how do we as a city deal with the increasing need to live, eat and celebrate outdoors.
How can the terraces also remain open longer in Switzerland, at least at night? When talking about the city at night, the topic of safety and risky behavior of night owls, be it in terms of alcohol, drugs, sex and their impact on society, also plays a role. The conference also tackles cutting-edge topics such as needle spiking or sexualized violence from different angles.
