At last year's award, 108 companies from all regions of Switzerland took part with 622 different spirits. A new participation record and a success story on which Max Kopp, the newly elected president of DistiSuisse, wants to build. The award makes a significant contribution to raising the quality of Swiss spirits and bringing forth innovations.
In the coming years, Kopp, who has been active in cantonal consulting in berry production and fruit processing for 30 years, wants to strengthen DistiSuisse even better in the industry and in public perception. Max Kopp takes over from Ives Branchi, who presided over last year's award.
