No trade fair in Düsseldorf in 2021 either

ProWein 2021 will not take place

ProWein 2021 will not take place as planned from 19 to 23 March due to the restrictions caused by Covid-19.

The current Covid 19 infection, the travel situation and the legal framework conditions have prompted Messe Düsseldorf as ProWein organiser to reassess the situation. In particular, due to the federal-state decision of 25 November 2020, according to which trade fairs can still not take place, the further development is not foreseeable.

"We did not take this decision lightly - rather, in intensive and close consultation with our partners and exhibitors, we very carefully examined the arguments for or against a trade fair in these dynamic pandemic times. The decisive factor for us was first and foremost the interest of our exhibitors and visitors," explains Erhard Wienkamp, Managing Director of Messe Düsseldorf GmbH.

The next ProWein is not expected to take place until the year after next, namely from 27 - 29 March 2022.
