BCB 2025: Trendsetter for the global bar community!

From October 6 to 8, the international bar community gathered at Messe Berlin for Bar Convent Berlin (BCB) 2025, where more than 12,100 visitors (previous year: 15,100) met 566 exhibitors from around 50 countries for three days of product innovations, educational formats and an exchange of experiences.

"The Bar Convent Berlin is a good example of how lively and creative the industry is. This year has once again shown that genuine passion, continuous exchange and a strong sense of togetherness are integral components of the bar and beverage community.

What makes this place so special are the people - an international community that inspires, supports and drives each other to create new impulses for the future." - Petra Lassahn, Director BCB. BCB 2025 highlighted the key topics and current challenges facing the industry.

Across various exhibitor categories - from spirits and aperitifs to wine and non-alcoholic alternatives - the event organized by RX makes it possible to experience how tradition and innovation are shaping the future of the industry together.

Key industry trends: from Low & No to Next Generation

The beverage and food service sector is constantly evolving due to changing consumer preferences and staffing challenges. At BCB 2025, the focus was on three topics:

LOW & NO

The trend towards conscious drinking has established itself at the heart of modern bar culture - with innovative non-alcoholic and Low-ABV: "In gastronomy, it's not primarily about alcohol, but about offering guests a special experience, regardless of the alcohol content in the glass." - Camille Vidal, international expert for low & no cocktails

Classic Cocktails

New interpretations of timeless drinks have shown how well tradition and innovation can be combined.

Next generation

In view of the challenging staffing situation in the catering industry, the BCB focused on career development opportunities and emphasized the need to make the industry attractive to young people.

BAR NEWS - again media partner

The leading Swiss trade magazine BAR NEWS once again entered into a media partnership with the BCB this year. And this was very successful, as the magazine met with great interest from visitors over the three days of the trade fair.

Save the date for 2026

The next BCB will take place at Messe Berlin from October 12 to 14, 2026.
