Place to be

BCB 2024 focused on business networking and education

For three days, Berlin was once again the place to be for the international bar and beverage industry. With 15,114 visitors and over 500 exhibitors and partners, the BCB once again more than lived up to its reputation as a business hub for the industry from October 14 to 16. The extensive continuing education program also set further accents.

This year's BCB once again brought the international bar world to Berlin and offered three days of ideal conditions for networking at the highest level. 15,114 trade visitors from 87 countries came together at the event to gain exclusive insights into innovative products, deepen business relationships and benefit from the wide range of training opportunities. The focus was on networking between manufacturers, bar owners, bartenders and distributors.

The training program at this year's BCB was the largest in the history of the trade fair and was enriched by numerous interactive workshops. "We took a close look at the industry and saw what it needs. Bartending is not just theory. And so the new Workshop Stage provided countless hands-on elements."

Agave spirits and the low & no segment continue to grow

Once again this year, numerous exhibitors used the BCB to present their new products and innovations. The trade fair thus offered a comprehensive overview of the latest developments and trends. One thing is very clear: the topic of agave is far from over! The trend is still very much in evidence in the industry.

Around 100 tequila and mezcal products were presented. Another highlight of the BCB was the "Low & No" bar, which established itself as a hotspot for innovative, low-alcohol and alcohol-free drinks after its premiere last year. The increasing demand and the large number of exhibitors underline the growing influence of this segment on the industry.

BAR NEWS - Media partnership with the Bar Convent

Switzerland's leading trade magazine for the bar scene entered into a media partnership with the BCB for the first time. And this was very successful, as it became clear over the three days of the trade fair that the magazine met with great interest among visitors.

Save the date for BCB 2025! This is planned for October 6 to 8, 2025 in Berlin.
