Franco and Cédric, the apprentices responsible for the development and production of Feldschlösschen Kellerbier, presented Marcel Kreber, Director of the SBV, with a cheque for CHF 70,000 to make their apprenticeship as food technologists EFZ with a focus on beer better known and more attractive.
Feldschlösschen Kellerbier was the masterpiece of Cédric Mühlebach, Franco Defuns and Kilian Kuonen. The three budding brewers in their second and third year of training at Feldschlösschen were responsible for everything from determining the style of beer to developing the recipe and selecting the raw materials. This special beer was successfully sold in selected Coop supermarkets. The sales proceeds of CHF 70,000 have now been donated to the Swiss Brewery Association's training fund.
