Martiny's
American history meets Japanese bar culture

Martiny's offers a beautiful cocktail experience in a historic carriage house in Gramercy. Takuma Watanabe, Co-Founder and Beverage Director, has created an experience that goes beyond great cocktails. At Martiny's, you will encounter excellent hospitality, deliberately chosen design elements, upscale bar bites and tasty drinks. The name Martiny's is on the one hand a reference to the one or other martini on the bar menu, as this is Takuma's favorite cocktail.
But it is also a tribute to Philip Martiny, a French-American sculptor whose studio used to be housed in this building. On the one hand, the design reflects the history of the original 18th century carriage house, while on the other, modern Japanese elements are incorporated throughout the space to honor Takuma's influences from Japan.

Bar Goto
Japanese bar culture for over 20 years

Bar Goto is a New York bar with a Japanese soul. It has been open in New York City's Lower East Side since 2015. Every detail of the space, menu and service is a personal combination of owner and bartender Kenta Goto's experiences growing up in Tokyo at his mother's restaurant and his twenty-plus year career as a Barkeeper in New York City. The space is elegant and cozy, the hospitality is honest and authentic.
The cocktails are Japanese variations on classics such as Sakura Martini, Hojicha Old Fashioned and Koji-San. In 2020, Kenta and the team at Bar Goto expanded to Brooklyn and opened Bar Goto Niban (Niban means "second"). The two bars are known for their relaxed, friendly service, excellent drinks made with sophisticated technique and some of the best bar food in the city: kombu celery, bowls of sizzling miso-wrapped chicken wings and okonomiyaki.

Paradise Lost
Devilishly delicious drinks in a tropical hell atmosphere

Paradise Lost is a tropical hellscape out of time. Rooted in the classic Tiki tradition, Paradise Lost uproots the conventional Tiki elements and replaces them with Americana iconography and occult demonology. The space combines sources from surf rock, punk rock, B-horror movies, Rat Rod culture, EC comics, Googie architecture and more to create an otherworldly space. The bar has a collection of more than 300 types of rum.
The cocktail program also focuses on rum creations, but includes all spirit categories and is aimed at both experienced Tiki connoisseurs and Tiki novices. Using various modern techniques such as nitro muddling, clarification and forced carbonation, the Paradise Lost team brews devilishly delicious potions that highlight rare and unusual flavor combinations such as papaya and miso or banana and garlic.
