The five Barkeeper "Barkeeper the Year" category who made it onto the 2020 shortlist were visited incognito at their workplaces and evaluated over the past few months. Now it's clear who has made it to the finals of the SWISS BAR AWARDS.
On 16 September, the three finalists will present their new own cocktail creation

In addition to the incognito visit to the workplace, the points achieved in the qualification round and the written test also counted towards the result. The following Barkeeper qualified for the final at the Award Night on 16 September:

Dirk Hany

Dirk Hany from Bar am Wasser in Zurich

Ivan Urech

Ivan Urech from the Atelier Classic Bar in Thun

Judy Lauber from Karel Korner in Lucerne and Andrea Linzner from 4 Tiere Bar in Zurich did not make it to the final.

Preparations for the Award Night are underway

Since the beginning of summer, preparations have been underway for the Award Night on 16 September at Chicago 1928 in Zurich-Oerlikon. Despite various challenges due to the Corona pandemic, we are convinced that we will be able to give the award ceremony the appearance it deserves. The applicable guidelines will be adhered to.
