Matured in Jameson whiskey barrels

Valaisanne Imperial Brown Ale

Valais meets Ireland, brewers meet distillers, beer meets whiskey. The brewers of Valaisanne have already brewed a brown ale from five malts and a blend of bitter and aromatic hops in spring 2020.

The beer was then stored in Jameson whiskey barrels. After a maturation period of six months, flavours ranging from fruity and vinous to vanilla, caramel and woody influences of the oak barrel unfolded in the beer.

The limited edition is currently available in 33-cl bottles exclusively in the online shop justDrink.ch. Later, the beer will also be available by the glass in selected restaurants and bars throughout Switzerland, as well as in the taproom of Brasserie Valaisanne in Sion.
