Hampdens Pure Single Rum matures for at least seven years in the tropical climate of Jamaica - which corresponds to a maturing time of about 25 years in Europe.
The Rhum Agricole from Haïti is a so-called Clairin Communal. It can be compared somewhat with cachaça or with rhum agricole made from sugar cane juice. In this case, it was produced by different distilleries and is therefore a "communal" product.
