Spirit of Yorkshire is the result of a successful collaboration between farmer Tom Mellor and business partner David Thompson. The sustainably grown barley and the spring water, which is important for the unique character of the whisky, come directly from Tom Mellor's Wold Top Farm.
The two business partners were advised by renowned whisky expert Dr. Jim Swan, who has helped establish award-winning distilleries such as Kavalan in Taiwan, Penderyn in Wales and the Speyside Distillery in Scotland. The range includes five whiskies with different finishes and the Yorkshire Cream.
