Every year, the BCB is known for showcasing the current top trends in the industry and bringing them to life. This year, the team around Event Director Petra Lassahn thought: "All good things come in threes!" So they are putting three exciting trend topics from the bar world in the spotlight.
Get to know & love whisk(e)y
Passionate whisk(e)y fans, or those who would like to become one, should not miss the "BCB Whisk(e)y Embassy" around this year's Spirit of Honor! In addition to delicious cocktail creations from the popular Hamburg "Collab Bar", visitors can also look forward to a great educational program.
Premiere at the BCB: Clear the stage for wine
This year, the BCB is also celebrating a true premiere: for the first time, the topic of "wine in bars" will be the focus of a special area of its own. Visitors will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the diverse world of wines and gain valuable knowledge in this special discipline.
Amaro Bar from London says "Yes" to Low & No!
But that's not all: a visitor favorite is returning in 2024 - the "BCB Low & No-Bar". The trend theme, which has become an integral part of bars around the world, will once again be brought to the BCB with its own pop-up bar - this time with none other than the team from the "Amaro Bar" in London.
Discover, educate & experience
There will also be plenty to discover around the highlight areas: around 470 exhibitors will be spread across six exhibition halls, presenting their latest products and taking visitors on a variety of taste journeys over three days. Of course, further education is also at the center of the BCB as usual. Visitors can look forward to a wide and varied range of products and services on a total of seven stages and education areas. On the new "BCB Workshop Stage", on the other hand, visitors can become active themselves. After all, the focus here is entirely on interaction and hands-on elements. And if you still haven't had enough after the BCB, you don't have to go home just yet! As every year, some of the best bar teams from all over the world will be coming to host guest shifts in Berlin's hottest bars in 2024.
