The 38-year-old communications and public affairs specialist has succeeded Peter Platzer as of January 1, 2026. Platzer is retiring after 31 years in this role. Eric Marbach holds a master’s degree in public management and politics from the Universities of Bern and Lausanne.
He has been working at the communications agency Furrerhugi AG as a consultant since 2017 and has served as a partner since 2023. Spiritsuisse brings together the leading spirits producers and distributors and represents approximately 90 percent of the spirits industry in Switzerland.
