Beverage Experience

New building Schürch Getränke AG

Rothenburger Schürch Getränke AG has moved into its new headquarters with a cash-and-carry market, beverage trade and logistics. The cidery and Amstutz Manufaktur remain at the old location.
The new headquarters with pickup market, beverage trade, and logistics are occupied.

In the future, Schürch Getränke AG will have its headquarters at Wurmistrasse 3 in Rothenburg. At the end of March, the fourth-generation family business run by Stefan and Toni Schürch moved into the new building.

Improved infrastructure at the new location

The new company headquarters opens up new prospects for the future, has a beverage pick-up market, attractive office space and a modern logistics center. In addition, versatile rooms have been created in the style of a "beverage experience world" for product events or tasting evenings for private individuals, associations, companies or Schürch AG itself. The center is the new pick-up market, which covers around 500 square meters and includes a tasting area. The logistics center houses beverages on around 2,000 square meters. For the 25 employees, the new building should create better conditions for everyday work.

Closure and investments

With the relocation of the cash-and-carry market, beverage trade, and logistics, Schürch was able to close five of the previous six locations. The cidery and Amstutz Manufaktur will remain at the Böltschi site with their production facilities. The construction volume amounted to CHF 5.5 million. 60 percent of Schürch Getränke AG's sales come from the catering trade, 30 percent from events and 10 percent from end consumers - 85 percent are trade products, 15 percent are products manufactured in-house (including Amstutz Manufaktur). On the open day at the end of April, 2,000 visitors came to the world of beverages.
