This special edition was created in collaboration with Cirque du Soleil to tell the story in an imaginative and innovative way. The whisky matured in selected sherry-aged American oak casks and second-fill sherry casks to capture the classic oak flavors of vanilla, citrus and sweet oak.
The Macallan's exceptional sherry-matured oak casks contribute most to the outstanding quality and distinctive flavors. Each cask is crafted in a precise process that takes around five years and contributes up to 80 percent of the aroma and 100 percent of the natural color.
