The construction of the distillery laid the foundations for the revival of the Isle of Harris. Since then, the distillery has been inspiring with Harris Gin and, most recently, with its first whisky - The Hearach.
The result is a unique single malt whisky that emphasizes its close connection to the island and its inhabitants through its complexity and character.
The years of maturation take place in selected ex-bourbon, oloroso and fino sherry casks. To crown it all, the whisky is married in sherry butts to meet the highest standards.
