The gin 27 Woodland is based on the original, supplemented with botanicals that come from the distillery's own forest, among other things. "The inspiration was to create a fruity gin from local ingredients," explains Stefan Maegli, CEO of the traditional company.
In addition to elderberries, it is especially the hand-picked fir shoots that give this copper-coloured gin the taste of the forest.
For the Gin 27 Woodland, the award-winning label in silhouette design was slightly adapted. It adorns the bottle in a deep earth tone.
