The Art of Italicus Aperitivo Challenge was launched in 2018. It reflects the brand's passion for Italian art and design and is based on the belief that Barkeeper are artists. It offers bartenders the opportunity to unleash their creativity and experiment with new ingredients, techniques and glassware to showcase the versatility of Italicus. Each recipe must be aperitivo style and can be inspired by any art form such as sculpture, painting, fashion, music, architecture and much more.
This year, participants are encouraged to make their creations even more sustainable. The global competition winner will be named "Italicus bar artist of the year 2024" and will win the mentorship program with Cafe La Trova by Julio Cabrera.
Conditions of participation
- Create an original aperitivo cocktail inspired by any art form (using at least 4 cl of Italicus Rosolio di Bergamotto), including a sustainable ingredient/garnish.
- Upload your recipe and a photo of the cocktail to the competition website by February 20, 2024.
- Share your cocktail recipe and cocktail inspiration on social media with the hashtags: #ITALICUS #ROSOLIODIBERGAMOTTO #ARTOFITALICUS #AOI24

Procedure and dates
Submit your recipe online by February 20, 2024 at the latest. The best eight recipes will qualify for the Swiss final on April 8, 2024, where you can present your cocktail to a jury of experts and get the chance to secure a place at the world final in Rome on May 12, 2024 .
