Original recipes wanted in 2024

The Art of ITALICUS Aperitivo Challenge is being held again this year. ITALICUS Rosolio di Bergamotto invites Barkeeper from all over the world to create an original aperitivo cocktail inspired by any art form.

This year, participants are encouraged to make their creations even more sustainable. The global competition winner will be named "ITALICUS bar artist of the year 2024" and will win the mentorship program with Cafe La Trova by Julio Cabrera.

With creativity and imagination to the goal

  • Create an original aperitivo cocktail inspired by any art form (using at least 4 cl ITALICUS Rosolio di Bergamotto), including a sustainable ingredient/garnish.

  • Upload your recipe and a photo of the cocktail to the competition website by February 20, 2024.

  • Share your cocktail recipe and cocktail inspiration on social media with the hashtags: #ITALICUS #ROSOLIODIBERGAMOTTO #ARTOFITALICUS #AOI24

Procedure and dates

If you qualify with your recipe (best 8 recipes) to take part in the Swiss final, you can present your cocktail to a jury of experts on April 8.

This will give you the chance to secure your place at the World Final in Rome on May 12, 2024.

This is what you can win

Swiss final

If you win the Swiss final, you will qualify for the world final in Rome on May 12. There you can expect a great competition at world-class level, a tour of the host city Rome, a culinary experience and a meeting with the founder of ITALICUS.

Global final

The winner of the global final will win a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Miami for a mentorship program with Julio Cabrera's Cafe La Trova, one of the most influential bars in the world, global media exposure and the title of "ITALICUS bar artist of the year 2024".
