The brandy distillates matured for at least 18 years in hand-selected Slavonian oak barrels as well as French barrique before developing their full aroma profile during a finishing in Amarone della Valpolicella wine barrels.
The result is a superbly round yet complex, creamy brandy with notes of fleshy apricot, almond and dried fruit. On the palate, hints of fig, walnut and a gentle spicy breeze of cinnamon, tobacco and coffee continue.
As the first market outside of Italy, Switzerland was favoured with an allocation of only 180 bottles of this annual batch release. This brandy rarity comes in a chic, handmade gift box with magnetic closure and is available exclusively from selected specialist retailers. The price is around CHF 159.
