The neck label under the stopper depicts the Appleton Estate in Jamaica's Nassau Valley, followed by the year "1749" embossed in the glass, the year the estate was founded.
"We are giving a fresher look to both our permanent rum range and our limited editions, while maintaining our commitment to exceptional spirits," says Master Blender Joy Spence, whose signature adorns each label.
Already available in October 2020, the 8 Year Old Reserve Rum in the new label is a novelty on the Swiss market. It is characterised by aromas of spices and oak, followed by hints of honey, vanilla and the orange peel note characteristic of Appleton Estate.
