A total of eight Bruichladdich contract farms grow their barley under the harsh conditions on the island of Islay for this vision: Single Malt Whisky whose provenance can be tasted and traced from start to finish. The seven-year maturation takes place 84 percent in first fill bourbon casks, eight percent each in second fill Virgin Oak casks and second fill Bordeaux casks.
