Choya liqueurs

Choya is a traditional Japanese liqueur made from the ume fruit and is also known as umeshu.

This liqueur is aged with a whole ume fruit to achieve a perfect balance between the ume extract and the spirits. The result is a balance of sweetness, acidity and exotic aromas emanating from the ume seed. Its mild taste and elegant aroma develop through a natural, slow ageing process.

In addition to Choya Extra Years, Haecky now also has a new addition to its portfolio: Choya Shiso - based on Extra Years with slightly bitter and spicy notes, which come from the red shiso leaf. And Choya Royal Honey - sweetened with honey and royal jelly.
