For the recipes, the distillery reached into the legendary herb chamber of the family business, among other things. "The combination of herbs and exotic fruits brings summer to the point and directly into the glass - in every season," says CEO Stefan Maegli. Abbacella N°1, a combination of 12 herbs such as aniseed, vanilla and liquorice and the fruity-bitter freshness of oranges, tastes fresh and cheeky.
Abbacella N°2 tastes exotic with natural flavours from home. With its pineapple aroma and wormwood extract, it provides taste explosions on the sun lounger, as well as after a hike in the Alpstein.
The third in the bunch, Abbacella N°3, has its bitter-minty character from 19 herbs. A distillate of wormwood, natural peppermint aroma as well as violet and gentian roots are flavour-forming.
