For the first time, the Drink Affair spirits fair was also held as part of Igeho. In contrast to the rest of the fair, this event, held in Hall 1.0 South, took place only from Saturday to Tuesday and from 12.00 noon each day.
Predominantly smaller spirits producers presented their products at identical stand modules. But wine, beer and spirits - as well as coffee, syrups, fillers and soft drinks - were also a recurring theme in the other parts of the exhibition.
In the "World of Coffee", for example, coffee machine manufacturers and roasters presented themselves. In the delicatessen and wine sector, spirits importers and producers such as DIWISA, Lateltin, Illva Lugano and Casa del Tequila were also represented.
In addition, various independent breweries presented their beers - and partly also their spirits - at a joint stand.
As many manufacturers launch their products at trade fairs, it is also interesting to discover new products at Igeho. In the food and beverages section (Hall 1.2), for example, it was hard to miss the stand of the Locher brewery, which, among other innovations, presented its new Craft Beer line.
In the same hall, the breweries Schützengarten and Doppelleu Boxer presented their beers at quite excitingly designed stands.
In the hotel and catering industry, the focus is on people - but robots are also trying to conquer their place in the industry.
Ultimately, the beauty of Igeho is that you can look over the shoulders of the star chef or the top bartender as well as the robot that prepares your drinks.
