One of Switzerland's biggest spirits brands becomes climate neutral

The Swiss spirit brand Trojka is a success story - and from now on its production will be CO2-neutral. This means that around 1,630,000 kg of CO2 can be saved every year.
The Swiss spirit brand Trojka will be produced CO2-neutrally with immediate effect.

There is hardly anyone in Switzerland who doesn't know them: the diverse liqueurs from Trojka, which are produced in the heart of Switzerland in Willisau, bottled and distributed from there to the rest of the world. Trojka conveys joie de vivre and can always be found where people come together to have fun.

With the Easy Mixer concept, the brand is particularly popular with all those who like to prepare a delicious drink in an uncomplicated and quick way. Simply put plenty of ice in a glass, mix 4 cl of Trojka with a mixed drink of your choice and - ready! A drink that tastes just as good at an aperitif on the terrace as it does in the club.

Innovation for a green future

With its liqueurs available in over 12 colour and flavour variations, Trojka has become one of Switzerland's biggest spirits brands since its market launch in 1994. The recipe for success seems clear: Trojka has always been an innovative brand that has always managed to keep its finger on the pulse. And this should continue to be the case - which is why Trojka is now one of the first spirits on the market to be produced in a climate-neutral way.

Thanks to this measure, around 1,630,000 kg of CO2 can now be saved annually. Through the cooperation with ClimatePartner, the CO2 emissions are offset with a project in Odisha, India. Specifically, this involves the operation of filter systems that provide drinking water. Trojka thus not only protects the environment, but also enables people to enjoy clean drinking water - in a place where this is not a matter of course.
