The rare barrels all date back to the time before the reopening of the Bruichladdich distillery and therefore matured for almost three decades on the Hebridean island of Islay before they were married in secret by Head Distiller Adam Hannett. Only Adam knows what contributed to the creation of this precious 29-year-old single malt. He enjoys complete trust and freedom. Barley, cask types and composition remain a secret.
