Dirk Hany is Barkeeper the Year 2020

It is the annual highlight of the Swiss bar scene: the SWISS BAR AWARDS ceremony. Once again this year, outstanding achievements in Swiss bar culture were honored. To mark the 25th anniversary of BAR NEWS, awards for the best hotel bar and the best bar team were presented for the first time.

Final 9th Swiss Nullpromille Trophy

Marc Uthe mixes the best non-alcoholic cocktail in Switzerland

On August 17, 2020, the best Barkeeper competed Barkeeper grand finale of Switzerland's oldest non-alcoholic cocktail competition in Bern. Marc Uthe took the top spot on the podium with his drink "Sangrial," a composition that included a non-alcoholic alternative to gin, sangria syrup, and grapefruit lemonade.
