The expert jury honored the country's best distillates in 19 categories - from fruit and grain brandies to liqueurs, whisky and vodka. For the first time in the history of the competition, the title "Distillery of the Year" was awarded to a single company. This honor went to Amstutz Manufaktur AG from Rothenburg, which impressed with five gold awards and two category winners - in the liqueur and vegetable and potato brandy categories - and achieved the highest average result of all gold products.

The award ceremony took place on Friday evening, October 31, 2025, in the Markthalle Basel in front of around 150 guests. In addition to Amstutz Manufaktur, numerous other distilleries were delighted to receive awards. The category winners include Etter Söhne AG (Zug), Z'Graggen Distillerie AG (Lauerz), Humbel Speizialitätenbrennerei AG (Stetten) and Distillerie de Saconnex d'Arve (Geneva).
They are all representative of the great diversity, innovative strength and artisanal quality of Swiss spirits production. The results of DistiSuisse 2025 impressively demonstrate that the Swiss art of distilling is internationally competitive and characterized by passion, expertise and a keen sense of regional raw materials and tradition.
